Pulpit Rock, Isle of Portland
This was a specific image I set out to take. I made sure to arrive plenty early about an hour before sunset to find the best composition and not have to have that mad rush when the light gets going
However I didn't reckon on just how many people would be around! There were families, dogs, kids, couples and even a drone flying around. People were even climbing onto Pulpit Rock itself.
I was using a fairly long exposure - but not enough to blur the figures out completely so I ended up making many exposures. A bit of Photoshop, eh Voila! People would be in different places in each frame so a few layers would do it.
The sky is also a separate frame. By the time the sky got this colour the rocks were too dark. But my camera didn't move so I don't consider this a sky replacement
