Slate Spoil & Autumn Trees, Llanberis.
Snowdonia National Park
I spent a week In Conwy in autumn 2019 partly to explore the area for photographs. I drove through Llanberis a number of times and considered this possible shot.
A rainy, murky day proved ideal. It darkened down the slate and allowed the colour of the trees to shine
I love the contrast of the yellow on black but also the sense of nature gradually reclaiming an old industrial site
