View from Bald Hill, Aston Rowant

This was a time when I was rewarded for an early morning and a bit of a hike. Sunrise is early in mid May, I left home around 04:30 for this image.  ​

It's about an hours walk from my home to the top of Bald Hill and things didn't look too promising on the way. But I kept going and was astonished to find this view when I reached the top of the hill.

I love the feeling of depth and distance that those multiple layers give and the hill in the distance anchors the whole image
