Tyrfan, Snowdonia National Park.
Tryfan.... surely the classic climber's mountain in Snowdonia?
It's quite an intimidating presence - not the highest but it is very prominent.
I was determined to get there early and parked up near the camping site at it's base (Gwern Gof Uchaf) just off the A5 in the beautiful Ogwen valley.
Wow - on two counts
1) Just a stunning place
2) Not sure I've ever been so cold!!
Anyhow I left when I could no longer feel my fingers, toes, hands and feet and I'm very pleased with this image and to have all my digits intact.
